Thanksgiving 2020 is just around the corner! Despite the many difficulties the past year has brought, there’s so much to be grateful for this season. Feasting with only your closest family members to keep safe from COVID-19? We’re right there with you (in spirit, at least). There may be fewer family members gathered around each table next Thursday – but that shouldn’t make this year’s celebrations any less significant.
In honor of the holiday, Colorado’s Best Drinks has crafted seven specialty cocktail recipes for you and yours to try this Turkey Day. With a delicious option featuring each of our sparkling soda and sparkling water flavors, every adult at your table can enjoy a blended beverage with their very favorite flavor.
Sparkling Hibiscus Punch
Serves: Two
What You'll Need:
- One can Sparkling CBD Hibiscus Water
- Two ounces tequila blanco
- Four ounces grapefruit juice
- Grapefruit, sliced OR maraschino cherries (for optional garnish)
- Ice
How It's Made:
- Select two tall drinking glasses, and add approximately eight ounces of ice to each.
- Divide Sparkling CBD Hibiscus Water can evenly between both glasses.
- Add approximately one ounce tequila blanco to each glass.
- Add two ounces grapefruit juice to each glass.
- Gently stir each beverage until all ingredients are well-blended.
- Top each beverage with a grapefruit slice or maraschino cherries for garnish.
- Serve and enjoy!
Sparkling Citrus Spritzer
Serves: Four
What You'll Need:
- Twelve ounces Aperol
- Twelve ounces prosecco sparkling wine
- One can Sparkling CBD Citrus Water
- Orange slices (for optional garnish)
How It's Made:
- Add ice to four tall drinking glasses.
- Slowly divide Aperol, prosecco and Sparkling CBD Citrus Water evenly between each glass.
- Gently blend contents of each beverage, then add an orange slice to the rim of each glass as an optional garnish.
- Serve and enjoy!
Sparkling CBD Cranberry Sours
Serves: Four
What You'll Need:
- Six ounces cranberry juice
- Six ounces vodka
- Six ounces frozen cranberries (for optional garnish)
- Three ounces pineapple juice
- One half can Sparkling CBD Lemonade
- Ice
How It's Made:
- Add several cups of ice to a large pitcher.
- Slowly pour cranberry juice, Sparkling CBD Lemonade, pineapple juice and vodka into the pitcher.
- Using a large serving spoon, gently stir the contents of the pitcher until all ingredients are well-blended.
- Pour mixture into the desired number of serving glasses, and promptly refrigerate pitcher with any remaining contents.
- Top each beverage glass with frozen cranberries for optional garnish.
- Serve and enjoy!
Sparkling CBD Champagne
Serves: Four
What You'll Need:
- Four ounces unsweetened apple juice
- Four ounces unsweetened pineapple juice
- Two ounces sugar
- Two ounces water
- One ounce lemon juice
- 2/3 ounce orange juice concentrate (thawed)
- 1/2 ounce lime juice
- One can Sparkling CBD Ginger Ale
- Six ounces champagne, chilled
- Ice
How It's Made:
- Add sugar and water to a two-quart pitcher.
- Blend well until sugar is fully dissolved.
- Add pineapple juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice, lime juice and orange juice concentrate. Place pitcher in refrigerator to keep contents chilled until mealtime.
- Just prior to desired serving time, add ice cubes to gallon-sized punchbowl.
- Remove pitcher from refrigerator, and slowly pour contents into punchbowl over ice.
- Slowly pour Sparkling CBD Ginger Ale and champagne into punchbowl.
- Serve and enjoy!
Black Cherry CBD-Tinis
Serves: Two
What You'll Need:
- Two ounces vodka
- One ounce cranberry juice
- One can Black Cherry CBD Soda
- Twist of lime peel (for optional garnish)
How It's Made:
- Select two martini glasses.
- Divide Sparkling CBD Black Cherry Soda, vodka and cranberry juice evenly between each glass.
- Stir each beverage gently until contents are well-blended.
- Top off each martini glass with a lime peel twist for optional garnish.
- Serve and enjoy!
Cranberry Cola Cocktails
Serves: Two
What You'll Need:
- Three ounces Spiced Rum
- Two ounces cranberry juice
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- One can Sparkling CBD Cola
- Lime wedges (for optional garnish)
- Ice
How It's Made:
- Fill two highball glasses with ice.
- Divide spiced rum, cranberry juice, and lime juice evenly between each glass.
- Slowly top off both glasses with Sparkling CBD Cola
- Add a lime wedge to the rim of each glass as optional garnish
- Serve and enjoy!
Creamy CBD-lights
Serves: Two
What You'll Need:
- One can Sparkling CBD Root Beer
- Three ounces vanilla coffee creamer OR three ounces heavy cream
- Three ounces spiced rum
- Ice
How It's Made:
- Fill two pint-sized drinking glasses with ice.
- Slowly pour approximately half of one Sparkling CBD Root Beer can into each glass.
- Divide spiced rum and vanilla coffee creamer evenly between both glasses. For a less sugary version of this recipe, use heavy cream as a substitute for flavored creamer.
- Gently stir each beverage until all ingredients are well-blended.
- Serve and enjoy!
